Coach Background & Mission
With over 10 years of experience training athletes from ages 4 to professional levels, Coach I brings elite athletic insight and passion for long-term development. This camp focuses on building athletes with solid physical foundations, sharp technical execution, and a mindset for greatness. I am certified through NFPT, National Federation of Professional Trainers and IFA, International Fitness Association.
Speed & Agility Camp Overview
- Ages: 8 and up
- Location: 3075 Jonquil Dr STE C, Smyrna, Ga 30080. One week of testing will take place at a local park (TBA). The exact date and location will be communicated well in advance to all athletes and parents.
- Dates: Every Saturday Jun-July, 8 wk program, unless communicated otherwise
- Time: 11am-12:30
- Group Size: 5-15 athletes
- Cost: $25 per athlete or 2 for $45

How We Train Speed
Speed = Physical Qualities + Technical Skill + High-Speed Sprint Stimulus
1. Becoming more mobile/ flexible
2. Technique Drills for Mechanics
3. Sprinting Fast Often
4. Building Strength Through Resistance
5. Recovery: Sleep, Stretch, Nutrition, Epsom salts bath etc.
8-Week Speed & Agility Progression
Week 1: Foundations - Posture, bodyweight strength, sprint form
Week 2: Footwork & Control - Quick feet, COD basics
Week 3: Strength Base - Lifting + Plyometric integration
Week 4: Acceleration - First-step speed, resisted sprints
Week 5: Top Speed Mechanics - Sprint technique, float sprints
Week 6: Reactive Agility - Mirror and reaction drills
Week 7: Power Output - Explosive strength, contrast training
Week 8: Testing & Deload - Re-measure metrics, celebrate the results that will speak for themselves
I do implement some of everything in each session to maximize results but there will be certain weeks that we put more emphasis in certain area(s) based off progression/ weaknesses of athlete(s).
As you know, there’s so much more that goes into things as a coach when it comes to training speed. There are dozens of external factors. Which is part of the reason I’ve been so big on training an athlete from an experience & scientific approach. We want to track our speed so we can see where we’re at, and ensure what we’re doing is helping us improve and get none but results
